There is no doubt that room for children should be aesthetic, safe and comfortable. Our children are creative so do not need much to have fun and make up new activities. While arranging room for them, we should manage the space appropriately to help their creativity. Sometimes the most easy solutions are the best. Propositions presented below may be useful and inspiring.

Furniture
Furniture for children can enhance their creativity. Swings, rocking chair, hidden lockers, drawers, hiding places are obligatory and recommended items in kids’ room. Interesting idea is bunk bed which can be used as a fortress, house or base. Additionally, if you buy (or sew) a curtain and hang it on the bed, it can become a theater that your children give shows in. Plus remember about appropriate desk height, since coffee tables for example won’t do any good to your children’s back.

Walls
Walls are decidedly favorite places of our children artistic creativity. They just adore: painting, drawing , hanging and sticking different objects to the wall. Unfortunately parents usually do not allow them to “damage” the room. But maybe good idea is to let them express their artistic potential spontaneously? You can use special wallpaper for coloring. You can also paint a part of the wall in a room with board paint (magnetic paint highly recommended). Your child can freely use it all the time. On the other hand it allows you to keep the space clean. Walls can be also decorated with stickers (characters, numbers, shapes etc.) which are stimulating for children imagination.

Floor
Another space to be arranged. Great idea for the floor is to cover it with puzzle carpet. Its shape can be changed according to child’s preferences. Also good solution is lining with some interesting motive (race track, city plan, jungle, labyrinth, ocean etc.)

There are much more concepts how to arrange perfect space for children. They are all dependent of interests, hobbies and favorite activities of your kids. Just a little bit of invention can help you to provide them wonderful place to have fun.
