Sophisticated details, exotic cultures influence and optimistic, rejuvenated mix of intensive colors – these are the general trends of the current season.

Color

When you wish to refresh your flat or house, you can choose one of many new styles. What marks out in this season is extended palette of colors. After  the domination of minimalism, gray and beige colors for last years, it is time for saturated tones. Universal black and white are still trendy, but new tones (purple, raspberry) and  refreshing compositions like: orange-green or red-rouge, are in. Very important are graphic elements. Stylists say, that in a „crisis-dominated” world, colors of our walls, couches, pillows, lamps and accessories become an important, optimistic accent in our life.

Folk motives

Another, new trend of this season are folk and ecological inspirations. Nature and design of 60′s, mix of traditional, ethnic decorations are top trends of this year. There are many possibilities: hand-made pillows with leaf ornaments, pictures and paintings with African masks, Indian statuettes, characteristic ornaments, scenery – everything is allowed…

Top of the season

the best composition that will make you feel safe and comfortable is wood with black, white, cactus green, brown and water colors. Top accessories in 2010 are: sculptures, 2-color blankets and thick, mat, visibly grind glass. Top colors in this season: purple, raspberry, ocher, gray, black, white, bottle-green, orange.

Furniture

Independently of new trends, when it comes to furniture, attitude of designers is minimalistic: mild colors, simplicity and modernity are the major rules.
