Metal Finishes
Standard Finishes
The standard finish for our metalwork is a 'powder coating'. This is an electro-statically applied coating. The finish is beautifully smooth and uniform, and extremely hardwearing. We have a selection of colours to choose from.

Graphite
Graphite is slightly sparkly dark grey graphite/charcoal colour - in between our Gunmetal and Black finishes. It has a slight sheen to it.

Gunmetal

-
New Silver
New Silver is close to brushed aluminium in colour and texture. It is a matt finish but it has a slight sheen to it. It is particularly good in contemporary interiors.
-
Gloss White

Bronze
Bronze is a beautiful dark brown metallic finish with slight coppery tones in it. It is a very versatile finish that goes particularly well with woods like walnut, or with neutral tones like limestone.

-
Gold
A soft yelllow gold with a matt finish.

Polished Stainless Steel
Many of our products are available in polished stainless steel. This means there is no coating to the steel, but the actual piece is made of stainless steel, which is a very difficult material to work. All of the pieces for the product are polished before fabrication and then the finished piece is repeatedly re-polished with ever finer polishing wheels until a near mirror finish is produced.

Stainless steel
Polished stainless steel is not a 'finish' as such - the actual piece is made of stainless steel. It is a very difficult material to work. All of the pieces for the product are polished once before fabrication and then the finished piece is repeatedly re-polished with ever finer polishing wheels until a near mirror finish is produced.
