This dynamic finish takes its name from the Idea Malabarica butterfly, sometimes called the Malabar tree nymph. It evolved from our Ulysseys Blue finish, leaning further into deep, pelagic blues and leaving out the teal colourway. It brings an added dimension to our Papillon designs, also working wonderfully on mirrors like the Cloud.

We apply them by hand using the powder coating process, which is quite a unique approach in that it's typically reserved for industrial processes.
