Our Papillon design has taken many forms over the years, and the Stool is a distillation of those explorations. A more compact footprint brings the rambling, organic lines into closer consort, delivering a truly impactful effect. If you’re feeling bold, opt for one of the finishes that we’ve developed specially to suit the Papillon collection, like an energetic Machaon or captivating Ulysseys Blue. Ariel

 

The Ariel design has got a certain softness to it, with undulating ribbons of steel spinning in on themselves to form a light and airy base. Each one is precisely cut to produce crisp edges and clean joins that fade together to seamless effect. Vienna Bar Stool

 

When the evening graduates to more beverage-based activities, having a few stools for the job can really raise the bar. The Vienna Bar Stool has the form of our classic Carver Chair, providing a level of support and comfort that’s often lacking in the traditional format. The aptly placed footrest adds to the feeling of sturdiness belied by slender, Art Nouveau-inspired lines. In any finish, it’s a design that’s sure to invite intrigue.

 

Phoenix Bar Stool

 

Our Phoenix design takes on the form of a more classic bar stool with a modern twist. Its svelte legs are cinched in the centre before splaying out to support the seat in a radial arrangement. We’ve also adapted the design into a Counter Stool with a shorter format and a more casual feel. The look is inspired by the modern metallic designs of 1970s Italy, recalling that clean simplicity of form.
