Business Operations Manager
Swindon, Wiltshire (on-site)

We are looking for a Business Operations Manager to make sure the day to day activities of the business run smoothly. Someone who is a problem-solver, highly organised, agile and most importantly, who can take the lead on projects.
Overview:
Reporting to the Head of Logistics & Operations, The Business Support Manager is responsible for company-wide business operations, including HR, facilities and systems.
Key responsibilities include:
Operational coordination
- Act as the primary contact across the organisation, coordinating and communicating vital activities and projects.
- Ensure company filing system is organised and up to date
- Manage company vehicle leases and fleet insurance
- Renew annual insurance policies for the UK and US, liaising directly with brokers
- Manage workshop and showroom leases and business rates, liaising with agents and landlords
- Manage all IT and phone systems
- Manage the marketing collateral stock list, responsible for keeping full stock and ordering new printed material when necessary
- Provide EA support to the CEO
People & HR
- Lead end-to-end recruitment for the company
- Manage onboarding and offboarding, including contracts, pensions and healthcare
- Own full management of the staff holiday and sickness calendar company-wide
- Organise team events, and staff birthday and leaving celebrations
- Organise and coordinate team training
- Manage annual performance appraisals across the company
- Act as the company’s main HR representative, working closely with our HR partners.
- Update accounts partner on payroll changes and act as the main liaison between staff and payroll
- Own and manage company policies, including the Staff Handbook
Facilities, Health & Safety and Welfare
- Be the main point of contact for office and facilities management, ensuring all services are delivered effectively
- Own and manage Health & Safety and Fire Safety compliance at the workshop
- Organise regular servicing and maintenance of workshop machinery
- Mange waste management at the workshop
- Prepare and organise workshop tours
- Communicate company updates and events to the team
- Draft and manage formal documentation, including contracts and service agreements
Project Management
- Lead cross-functional projects such as the bi annual Ex-Display sale, working with the Sales, Marketing and Logistics teams
- Support wider business projects as needed, eg Trade shows and exhibitions
- Keep creative projects on track, eg photoshoots, showroom display changeovers
