Avalon Rectangular Dining Table
The Avalon is a particularly striking rectangular dining table. The pedestals are handcrafted to an exacting geometry, fitting together in a stacked and twisted hourglass form. This sculptural furniture design calls for two AVA bases to support the long tabletop. The twin bases create a sense of uniformity and order, especially when paired with crisp glass above, which almost disappears.
Each Avalon is made to order in our Wiltshire workshop, where we can tailor the piece to suit your specifications. We’re able to customise its size and build the base in either steel or bronze. Steel bases can be finished in a range of standard or specialist options, while bronze bases can be polished or treated to produce your choice of patination. In bronze, this timeless table has an elemental feel, which is heightened when treated for a Bottle Green or Scorched Earth patina, for example.
