Chelsea Flower Show is a firm favourite in London’s event calendar for our team. Chris Beardshaw designed the exquisite Morgan Stanley Garden at this year’s show and we couldn’t be more thrilled that Tom was asked to design some bespoke pieces to be included within it. Whilst many wouldn’t naturally associate luxury furniture with garden design, Tom often seeks inspiration for his designs from the great outdoors so to be given the opportunity to work on such a prominent part of the show, was a huge honour. The garden went on to win gold!
Chris’ concept really spoke to us - a space that considered how innovative techniques and materials can be applied to the creation of gardens to ensure waste is minimised and products kept in circulation as long as possible.
We had three pieces included within the garden - each one in bronze with bespoke patination to ensure they were suitable for outdoors. A special edition of our popular AVA dining table, a brand new Boulder side table and a beautiful, tall Capricorn plinth, which could be seen all the way from the end of the garden. Here are some snaps from the show and some of the pieces being brought to life in our Wiltshire workshop.
