True satisfaction comes when we see our designs out in the world, infusing their own distinctive characters into larger schemes. We feel very lucky to have many pieces in the hands of exceptionally capable interior designers the world over. Their work inspires us to create new designs that bring both functionality and beauty to curated spaces. To give you a look behind the doors of these enviable environs, we’ve drawn together a few of the most striking schemes featuring Tom Faulkner furniture. We hope you’ll get as much of a kick out of them as we do!
The OWO is a building with a storied past that’s recently undergone a major re-think. With talented design studios like Angel O’Donnell making their mark on the residences, it’s been a thrill to watch this new chapter take shape. They opted for our AVA dining table to anchor this striking breakfast nook, tempering the clean, rectilinear format of the space. AVA combines exacting geometry with a hand-painted ‘Antique Pewter’ finish topped by a crystalline glass top. Surrounded by energetic upholstery and a cascade of natural light, we couldn’t think of a better home for our design.
We’re also delighted to be part of Winch Design’s vision for The OWO Penthouse, which draws together a curated collection of pieces, each with an air of character and history. Our Papillon round dining table forms a contemporary focal point, centred at the eye of a spellbinding underfoot scheme. It’s supported by our Avebury console, introducing some levity in a hand-painted ‘Verdigris’ finish.
Introducing a plinth is an excellent way to show off treasured objects in their best light. Our Capricorn plinth creates an artful sense of occasion with its classical silhouette imparting a touch a of gravitas in its peripheral placement. An intimate nook receives an added touch of functionality and flavour with our Venetian glass-topped Lily cocktail tables. The overall effect is a silky-smooth, harmonious scheme which marries complimentary hues in a rich array of materials. It’s a true feat of design which we are proud to play a part in.
Never has working from home looked like such a tempting proposition! The bright minds at Mint Studio have created this calming, sophisticated office space awash in moody midnight blue. Our Albany desk makes its presence felt in ink blue leather set against a ‘Dark Bronze’ frame. Combined with a matching Vienna carver chair, this strikes us as an incubator for many clever ideas to come.
The designers of Mint Studio have also included our Lily mirror in this London Townhouse project. Paired with a petit stool at this compact and characterful dressing table, Lily evokes an uplifting atmosphere with its undulating, aqueous silhouette. We’ve finished the piece in ‘Florentine Gold’, adding just a dash of luminosity to this neat little enclave.
This Chelsea home by Mlinaric, Henry and Zervudachi is a true stand-out space. It’s particularly special to us as design titan, David Mlinaric played an important role in inaugurating our shop on Pimlico Road just last year. We’re great admirers of his work and have even got a journal piece to showcase it. It’s well worth a look at his larger oeuvre, though this project beautifully encapsulates his and his colleagues’ ethos.
They’ve combined classic and contemporary, injecting a hint of whimsicality with our Papillon side table in an electric ‘Ulysseys Blue’ finish. Our slightly cubist Galena lamp brings an artful touch, perched on the table’s clear glass top. Move into the hall and you’ll be met by our Versailles console with its spiralling base imparting a sense of movement and classicism. Topped by a collection of intriguing art objects, it’s the perfect platform for a bit of personality.
Tomèf Design rarely misses, and this recent Mayfair Townhouse is no exception. They’ve created a warm and welcoming living space that feels worlds away from the bustling streets of London. Toasty tones and tactile textiles bring an instant air of comfort and sophistication alongside the molten form of our ‘Orange’ Lily cocktail table. It’s a space that one could easily loose many hours to lost in a good book or a spirited conversation. Tempting, indeed.
If you’re interested in incorporating our designs into your next project, we hope you’ll get in touch to discuss how we can tailor them to suit your needs. We make each piece on a bespoke basis so are more than happy to work together on getting every element just right.
