We start with either bronze or brass, treating the material by hand to produce a unique, mottled patination. It’s especially effective on contemporary, geometric designs like our AVA Dining Table, bringing an elemental quality to its crisp silhouette.

These options create the opportunity to produce distinctive patinas that breathe a deeper sense of history and character into our furniture designs. We're able to reproduce the natural effects of time using different elixirs paired with heat. Each patina is applied individually, imbuing a truly bespoke feel. The final step is sealing the surface with a layer of wax to halt oxidisation and preserve the perfectly balanced patina.
