We take a great deal of joy in customising our designs to suit our clients’ needs. New challenges give rise to creative solutions and, sometimes, pieces which find a place in our standard range. We’ve recently introduced a number of some such creations to our core collection, bringing extra functionality, comfort, and materiality to old favourites. A few of them are brand-new designs, which recast our trademark shapes into new forms. Read on to discover what’s new this season. Cloud Console with Kintsugi Moon Finish

 

 

Tom initially designed this fresh interpretation of our Cloud shape for Collect art fair earlier this year. It was created to showcase pieces of fine metalwork by FIVE Collective, setting the scene for a sleek yet materially rich display. The top is made in a Moon finish, which is achieved by hammering the steel and cooling it to form scale, which is shed to expose a craggy surface. The final result starts off as separate pieces, which are joined together through brazing, leaving trails of golden ‘kintsugi’ joinery. The legs are made using a traditional blacksmithing technique, hammering carefully to create a slightly jagged look, which tapers towards the floor. The overall effect is emphatically elemental, yet elegant.

 

 

Cloud Cheval Mirror

 

 

This take on the Cloud is our very first cheval mirror, which stands freely at full-length. It’s an excellent addition to a dressing room, or even in a living area where it can add extra depth to the space. We’ve finished this one in Moon Silver, which gives it a cool, contemporary look. The base brings extra intrigue to the design, with two curved legs reaching outward to support the long and lean mirror above.

 

Cloud Étagère

 

 

This handcrafted étagère has got a particularly striking quality to it, with a healthy dash of gravitas. It’s supported by spears of bronze, which are hammered so that they taper at both ends. Each shelf takes on the Cloud shape with smooth, curving edges that soften the design’s effect. It’s the perfect piece for displaying art objects and was initially designed to do exactly that at various exhibitions and fairs. Place yours in a study or a living room to bring some added height to the scheme, creating a strong focal point.

 

 

Rectangular Papillon Coffee Table

 

 

The rectangular Papillon coffee table joins its circular predecessor as an eye-catching feature piece to any living space. It provides a larger surface area than the circular format does, giving you extra space for coffee table books, cocktails, and art objects. It also brings an upbeat and unexpected lift to more traditional schemes, infusing a cascade of colour in our range of Butterfly finishes. You can opt for more classic finishes as well, like Florentine Gold or Persian Silver, which deliver a slightly more subdued effect.

 

Rectangular Papillon Drinks Trolley

 

 

This piece is sure to be a fine friend for those who like to host. It’s got ample storage space between its two glass shelves, so you can rest assured your bar cart will stay well-stocked the whole night through. The Butterfly finishes alone provide enough of a boost to elevate spirits, taking on a whole new level of energy when you add dichroic glass to the equation, casting chimerical rays of light over the curvaceous base beneath.

 

Lily Ottoman with Storage

 

 

This new iteration of our Lily ottoman brings with it a major functional boost. Its hinged top opens to reveal a generous storage area to tuck away blankets, or just about anything else that needs a home. It works wonderfully in a dressing room, giving you a little bit of extra closet space, plus a place to perch. The organically shaped base also presents a beautiful canvas for luminous finishes like this Moon Silver, revealing its many tones as each curve catches the light.

 

Lily Cocktail Table with Moon Base

 

 

We’ve recently added the option of extending our unique Moon finish along the stem of our Lily cocktail table and down onto its base. It brings a contemporary, if slightly industrial feel to these handy end tables, as well as adding a splash of texture. Opt for a matching Moon top to create a sleek, cohesive look, or combine materials like marble or polished stainless steel to introduce a bit of contrast. We’d recommend clustering a mixture of them together for a multi-level display that’s sure to be a conversation-starter.

 

 

Jak Chair with Upholstered Back

 

 

The Jak chair is designed around simplicity and functionality, taking on a sleek and minimalist form. This latest incarnation offers a bit of added comfort with a plush back pad upholstered in your choice of fabric or leather.
