Papillon
Papillon
Over the years, Tom’s travels have brought much inspiration. In this case it was the lines between the famous boulders of the Joshua Tree National Park in California that gave rise to the shapes of the Papillon collection.
Tom saw the connection between the patterns in the boulders and the intricate wings of butterflies, which inspired the name of the collection, and furthermore inspired the five colourful ombré finishes we offer for Papillon. These “Butterfly finishes” are all inspired by, and named after British butterflies.

Our Papillon collection finds inspiration in the mercurial patterns of butterfly wings. Tom has since extrapolated these rivulets of opalescent colour into light and airy frameworks for tables, stools, and even decorative screens.
This collection of nature-inspired furniture harnesses organic shapes and curvaceous lines to bring softness and dynamism its environment. We’ve specially developed a full range of ‘Butterfly’ finishes to enrich the formal qualities of the Papillon collection, bringing a highly contemporary feel to these forms.
We also offer unique materials like dichroic glass which introduce a spellbinding, mercurial quality to each design. We invite you to explore the full range of options for customisation across this modern furniture collection.
